Among the glass towers of La Defense stands a smaller tower with a folded surface in all the colors of the rainbow. You can see a mirror image of it in the glass wall behind. I think the colors might have been stronger once, they looked like the sun had faded them.

I took exactly the same picture 15 years ago when I took my first job and worked in La Defense. But I didn't have the great idea you had to wait for someone to be include into the frame and give the picture some kind of human dimension. Well done. And you're right the colours had faded since then.

Maybe I should get into my archive to look for those picture I took in la Defense when I worked there. In 15 years, so many thing had change; whole buildings had disapear, replace by newer and bigger one. I remember I saw the very first skyscrapper (own by Total) ever build in la Defense being take down and now replaced by another building three times the size of the old one. Maybe I should take new pictures of la Defense district and compare them with the old one.

I just love this picture, very good juxtaposition of stripes and reflections!

This is some great work Ebbe!
I am weak for these compositions, and this is very good, with all the colors and lines.
I also see some interesting motives if you zoom in on his head and the colored stripes...

Amazing architecture and very well framed. I like very much the idea to put this man walking and the blooming tree add a little nature to this artificial shot. Well done, Ebbe!

Wow Ebbe !! Amazing framing and result !!
I like the presence of the man, which reminds that we are here in a business center.
Very well seen, one of my favorites !

Very good framing of this strangle little tower, the colors and the light are great and you had a very good idea to wait for this man.

La Defense is a great theme park for architects, and I can ubderstand why this place is so attractive for you, Ebbe. Your composition is great, I like the way you divided the frame to two parts, and the reflectin, with the well positioned person creates a great image. Very very well done.

This is something different Ebbe. Very well seen and composed. The reflection is so effective. I like the very tight bottom crop too.

Amazing place and shot! I like this little guy walking at a good pace and with his head a little turnd. Everything is so just in the right place, even the lovely trees.

This is just great, Ebbe! All the colored lines - almost as a waterfall - the reflection, the trees in blossom and the man, boldly placed so close to the bottom, giving a real sense of size and yet not looking depressed.
Well done - a sure favorite!

Great lines, great reflection...great composition, very beautiful composition, well done.

What an incredible shot. The colors, the lines, the composition. I especially like the placement of the man. He's so crisp and clear and so tiny-looking.

This is a very very good photo. One of your best shots!

First, your vertical format implies a feeling of pride and dignity. The building is, or maybe the man. The colors are also magnificent and of course, the compo. Thanks for sharing this to us.

I like the composition, the pedrastian give it a touch of expontaniety, I think that included it in the phtoto was a good decision.

Great vertical composition, Ebbe. Excellent reflection of this "rainbow tower" in the glass facade, and that facade contributes its own interesting pattern. A fine way to have the pedestrian scale this scene. Crisply sharp, and the colors - though possibly faded in the "rainbow tower", as you write - are great, too.

I have no words to comment this image. To simplify, let me say: just fantastic! regards.

Vertical and very clever composition. The man adds a feel of start and end point. Very well seen.

Perfect shot! Good composition. I like man, showing signs of worry. Great!

Splendid composition, wonderful lines, good there is a person in the pic, and she is going the right way.

Great color and contrast, good reflextion effect, all that in a good photo.

Well seen Ebbe ! A lot of graphic elements perfectly ordonned by your eye. Congratulation.

My personal favorite amongst your recent Paris postings, excellent compo and unlikely contents. Congrats.

Ebbe, for me this one is fantastic, thank you for posting it!

Hi Ebbe,
This one immediatly caught my eyes. I like this kind of modern architecture and this little human presence in the composition.
Beautiful !
Olivier.

Very nicely composed shot. I love the composition.
The tower of colour looks like a design from Paul Smiths clothing line.
The man who spilt all that paint is going to get fired isn't he!
The scale created with the man is very helpful and brings the image into the normal, as it would look very abstract if there was no other focal points.
Well captured.
See what you think of my La Defense shots.
Merry Christmas.
