Photographer’s Note
Lizards are common all over the world, but I never saw one in Normandy. I suppose they don't like the climate. Nevertheless, this one was enjoying the warm sun on a table tray today. He was certainly less surprised than I was and he stayed there without moving, just enough for a few pictures. He went away quickly after, stopped on the wall shortly and disappeared. I have a new camera and just starting with it... should have choosen the aperture priority with a f/8 or 11 opening to get a greater DOF range and a crisper body. Next time... if he comes back one day!

Nice shot! Lizards are tricky subjects - agree that it would benefit from more DOF, but it's a good shot nevertheless :-)

I think this is a great capture of a very brief moment. The bright green against the brown "frame" really makes him stand out. The caption fits well! You have been added to the lizard theme. :o)

I haven't seen this one, Jean Michel. Lizards are some of my favorite creatures, and this one is colorful and clear, especially his/her head. I like how you've caught him poking from out of the wood.

Excellent timing and great colors, Jean Michel. I think that the DOF is just great, no need of anty changes. Wonderful shot. A nd congrts for your new camera.
