Saint-Loup-de-Naud - Roman Church Photo

Photographer’s Note

- In my area - Saint-Loup-de-Naud - Built in 11th and 12th century the church is one of the most beautiful Roman buildings of Island of France it was a place of pilgrimage of the "Comtes de Champagne" in the honor of the relics of Saint Loup, bishops of Sens. The church was completed thanks to the donations of Henri the Liberal, "Comte de Champagne". Celebrate for its gate which according to an entirely new idea has its sides occupied by the first statues columns of the saints and prophets. This spectacular gate is connected with the royal gate of the cathedral of Chartes and account among the treasures of the Gothic art in Island of France.

Bonjour Giorgio,
Passionné d'architecture religieuse (entre autres), j'apprécie hautement cette prise de vue de cette superbe église Romane, et de son magnifique portail découvrant colonnes et voussoirs sculptés de haut relief.
Le cadrage vertical convient parfaitement à cette très belle composition.

tres belle église avec roman et gothique mélangés au passé riche d'histoire
le portail semble magnifique et cet arbre sur le côté droit agrémente cette belle photo
ps: connais tu Dontilly, je crois et son cloître?

Très belle lumière pour ce porche étrange, bien vu d'avoir inclus l'arbuste à droite dans la compo.

This is a fine church in the most interesting architecture from times gone by!
The angle of light is good and adds life to the structure, fine details in the image...
Well composed presentation, the red flower on the framiong tree adds nice colour diversity!
