[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
To give the same impression as yesterday in the other direction here is the next view of this fascinating fortress. You see here in the left background parts of the inhabited city.
By the small stripe of green on the right side you might assume that there are some plants inside the fortress. That is right, this one is a hotel garden. There are several hotels inside the fortress. Therefore you have car traffic in the narrow alleys.
I later added WS with changed POV.

Belle vue du château, belles couleurs, luminosité extra et ce qui ne gâche rien, beau ciel bleu avec juste quelques nuages . Thomas

Guten Tag Ulf

I like this one better, as the lighting is superior here. Good pov & excellent sharpness on the castle. Tfs!

Hi Ulf,
This photo is better then the last. I like the POV, light and details.
TFS and have a nice weekend,
Aires

Hi Ulf,
A great point of view of this part of the fortress. Nicely composed with some good details that we are able to see on the building especially the roof. I also like that we can see some of the village below this adds to the composition.
Regards
Wanda

Beautiful!
The POV is very smart and imposing. The exposure is perfect again, with details even in the darker areas of the wall and that blue sky.
Much the same apllies to the WS: although it isn't so striking, it shows nicely both the castle and the town.

Hi Ulf,
Super clear and very good colors,
Well done conqrats,
Best regards

Ok, I'll tell you why I like this picture. The castle is very impossing taking most of the frame. The fine details you captured are excellent. Your management of light allowed you to obtaing good definition and colors. The sky has good saturation in my thinking. You can't always get deep blue sky for every shot. The depth of field elements showing a tiny section of the city down below and some tower like structures in the very far distance is good. There is nothing I don't like in this composition. The picture is well composed in any way I see it. Nice work Ulf :-)

Guten Abend Ulf,
Carcasonne fasziniert immer wieder; der Blick entlang der Mauern hinunter ins Tal ist gut gewählt. Vielleicht etwas mit der Farbsättigung höher gehen?
Gruss

Beautiful point of view on the castle with pretty colors
Have a good day

Hallo Ulf,
I had recognized the place from the vignette, I haven't visited this place for ages but it's soooo caracteristic you can't be fooled, I like here the agglomeration of various medieval structures in such a small frame, it makes the picture overloaded with elements but it is just what Carcassone is !
It looks a little bit bright on the right but generally looking I'd say exposure is not bad considering a rather inappropriate shooting time, I know sometimes our schedule does not allow for staying longer...
Have a nice day,
JEan-Yves
