It it four years in a row now that Michèle Santi has been organizing a Venetian Carnival in Paris.
During two afternoons of April, people can see about 150 wonderful costums and masks in the small parision harbour close to the Bastille place. Some of them were presented to the real Venetian Carnival.
People are wandering around on the bank or on small boats; the attitudes and the costumes are a real pleasure for photographers for sure : I've never seen so many digital cameras in my life.
Original framing, I adjusted the color balance, the saturation to preserve the automnal spirit of the costums and applied some gaussian blur in the background.

i saw some peopel dressed up like that like week at the mondial de la photo , portes de versailels.

I really like the leaves in the background, without the fence it could have had a very timeless quality. The colors are wonderful, it reminds me of harvest.

Great picture and colors. I would like it tighter on their face. However, the fact that it is almost 3 colors making this picture, it jumps out of the gallery. Very good indeed.

Mysterious couple, I would not follow them!
I like the soft colors, it can be tempting to oversaturate a picture like this but you have been very delicate. You have also manged to get good tones and texture on whites aswell as on the deepest black.

Waw !

Bravo!

Spot on Steven,
I love the way the masks really stand out against against the busy background and the inclusion of leaves in the foreground makes it quite difficult to know where the costumes end and where the surroundings start.

I have been to the real one, and indeed who could guess that these pictures were taken in Paris. The tree perhaps ?
Anyway it's a very good shot Steven. Soft colors and good framing.
Keep well Izzet Keribar
