Critiques [Translate]
hi, this wonderful picture really desserve a comment. It is a pity that you did not take any time for that. Anyway the picture is just perfect, strange , looking like a suburb area , not human at all, with in parallel a lot of tenderness between these 2 persons and their particular clothes. I like the fact their back is touching the glass of the bus station (something like that isn't it ?). Beautiful picture from a technical point of view, but also artistical dimension very far from traditional landscapes and portraits. Congratulations.

Welcome to TE (and a special welcome as I see you use a KM 5D ;-) ). This is a wonderful, wonderful image. I love how you've used the graffiti and the textured glass of the bus stop(?) to such creative effect. Perfectly framed and a spot on exposure too. The only thing I don't like is the very unnatural shape under the man's coat as he leans against the glass - almost as if he had a tamborine hidden there. Very odd. Anyway, I look forward to more of your work. Stephen

There is a certain anegdote in your shot which I really like. Old pepole, young style of the frame.. surprising, impressive connection..
Welcome to TE. Best, Agnieszka

What a great first shot for TE, love the contrast between the dirty looking graffiti and the old grannies dressed in their sunday clothing with the effect of the frosted glass. My kind of shot. Well done Faros, hope to see more similar shots like this from you :)

Salut,
Amicalement,

A very interesting and also odd picture. This sense of vagueness has added to the charm of this photo. It would be much better if you have written something in the note section.

This is a great shot... Don't see many of those on this site..

J'aime beaucoup.
Bravo

Hi Faros.
Excellent one, I like this view.
Strange, funny,...good idea.
The "peace......stella" give a good touch and the colors tones are really good..
Nice shot

Hello,

Hello Phil,

how well you've captured this couple together with signs. what i like mostly in this photo is back of this guy - squeezed in a little bit to the glass. well done. thanks for sharing.

Hello Faros,
Brilliant picture! At first I misunderstood, as I just thought that it was a blurry picture. After seeing the contact surfaces of the people's backs with the window, I was just amazed. I could not get your aim of including the "Stella" issue into the pic. However, the originality of the score deserves two (more than two) points.
Congrats,
Deniz

Salut Faros,

Hi Faros,
I don't know about you but I never look at the marks awarded when I look at anyones photographs. But I have to say that this is the best. It's got that bit of mystery to it. Even the graffiti adds to it all. It's like they are having a really good gossip and have steamed the windows up. Very enjoyable Faros.

Mark

Dear Faros ... you have heard it many times as I can see, but it is a super cool photo. It shows so well how worlds can collide ... the old couple sitting there not understanding our world ... or maybe they do. We can only guess work. So well done, really. Barbara.
ciao Faros,
brilliant idea for this photo...i like the fact their back is touching the glass of the bus station..intersting effect;new and old meet in this picture..
have a nice weekend,

Hey Phil I am I the bearer of peace. ......... excellent release ciao Sergio
Phil apart for any technical stuff what i personally search in photografy is to feave some feeling. Not sentimental any kind of feeling. This picture is not justa representation of daily life. It can be "read" with various ways. The old people that turned their back to the rest of the world (or the world has turned their back to them. The everlasting love story. The inavoidability of time (the angle behind the foggy window gives the feeling that they are lost in the mist of time) . Finally the graffity that you picked as title . A decleration of devotion? Could be. Excelent work
thank you for sharing

Hi Phil,
A talking picture... I like the contrast between the blairy old couple and the clear contemporary art (graffitti). The fact that makes this picture beatiful to my eyes is that both the two themes in this frame have elements that are outstanding. The old and the modern have their own special grace...

Hello Phil,
I've been a bit absent but come back to TE now and then... and am so glad to find this shot of yours which I will put into my favs immediately... superb one, everything about it is, but especially the man's coat so close to the glass pane. That is the gem of it all... unbelieavable work, am green with envy!
Take care

hello Phil

I like figures on this photo, but these bright graphities kills the mood and take out attention from the main subject...
