Photographer’s Note
Nearly 90 towers were built in Corsica in the C16. 60 of them is sill standing in very good condition. This one is from place Marine Negru near Nonza.
Most are round and up to 18m in height, with a cistern in the lower part, a living section in the middle and an observation/fighting platform at the top. At ground level were water cisterns. The walls are generally 4m thick. They stand at sea level, up to 350m.

Dober dan Marjan,
Well exposed view of this typical Corsica landmark, I lik ethese towers a lot too. Framing wise I think a vertical framing with a bottom up perspective leading to the tower could have worked better.
