In visit to the zoo of Maubeuge where one of the main attractions being the white tigers. But this day was one of hottest of this mounth of July, we did not know where to put us so much the weather was hot. The tigers they had found a place in the shade of a tree. I am to spend several times in front of their enclosure, but they did never leave their corner of shade, not so stupid...

White tigers are Bengal tigers or tigers of mixed Bengal/Amur ancestry with pink noses, white-to-creme coloured fur and black, grey or chocolate-coloured stripes. Their eyes are usually blue, but may be green or amber. There are several hundred white tigers worldwide (this number increases annually), all of whom can trace their ancestry back to Mohan, a white Bengal tiger caught in Rewa, India.

Hey Guy,

I like the composition of the shot, but I'm not sure about its impact. The two twigs on the side in the foreground are a bit distracting.. The image could also use some sharpening. What a beautiful animal! Thanks for sharing,

Jas

Beste Guy,

Pierre

this is a nice picture presenting the calmer side of this powerful cat. Its such a shame that these beautiful cats are so rare. I have workshopped this image to try to bring out the cat a bit, make him/her a bit bolder.

Philippe
