I have never seen such a think. You know I am a carper fisher, so I sit much time an the water, but I have never seen this before. The photo, is well taken, and the colours are good. What can I say, you did a great job here, thank you for sharing this one.

Photo impréssionante effectivement mais le cormoran à pu se saisir de ce poisson car il est en bassin , en eaux libre, il n'aurais pas pu plonger prendre une vrai carpe. Mais le cormoran est capable de prendre de très grosse proie avec le meme principe que les serpents.
L'instant est bien capturé en tout cas, et la photo de très bonne qualité pour une scène ou tout va très vite .

Dear Jeanlouis, superb picture, rare moment. How did the bird get that fish ? It doesn't look like it came from high above.
Great reflection. Only minus is the centered position. Otherwise great work, thanks for sharing. BTW it would be great if you would start to write critiques
of other pictures yourself, that will also enhance your future photos :)

The photo opportunity has been well seen and captured. I think it would have more impact if the framing on the bird and the reflection was tighter. Cropping just above the bird's head, immediately to the left of the carp's fin and removal of a little of the space below the reflection would concentrate the eye on the bird. As it stands there is too much blank space, particularly on the left and above the bird.

Impressionnant ! j'avais vu des cormorans plonger en mer pendant quelques secondes pour ressortir avec un poisson ; de là à imaginer qu'ils faisaient de même avec un bassin (plus pratique comme garde manger) . Bel instantané, ça doit aller assez vite.
A-t-il avalé sa proie complètement ???

As it was said before it is impossible that this bird eats this fish, maybe it is fish eating bird. :P

Great job I would have never be on time to make my camera ready to shoot this.
