I took this one in the Musée d'Orsay. My guess is that these kids were painting the Degas sculpture of the ballerina. I love this museum, because I'm a fan of post-impressionismus. If you're also a fan, other interesting places to visit ate teh Musée de l'Orangerie and the Jeu de Paume, both close to the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay.

Scanned from actual picture. I increased contrast and sharpness that were lost during the scanning process. I also made a B&W version and was wondering whether that one was more interesting.

Hello Yvonne,
This is a very nice photo. It reminds me of my visit to the d'Orsay, where a class of children were also visiting Degas' ballerina. But it was very busy and crowded that day and not good for picture-taking. Your moment is perfect. The only problem with your photo is that there is a lot of noise (caused by the scanning, no doubt). You can clean it up with a noise reduction software program. I used Noiseware on your photo and it did a great job. Other than the noise, this is a great shot.
Regards, Jackie
