[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Getting ready to sail. During the Cannes film festival lots of boats arrive to the port and the coast in front of the Croissette, the street by the sea that becomes the most walked place in the city. Long ago I posted a photo similar to this one, and I remember a very interesting critic by Michael Gan. One of those you feel you have learn something. This photo is like a second try and I think I´ve corrected some of the mistakes he told me back then. Take care and enjoy summer.

Hi Miquel
You did a fine choice here giving us a close up of that harbour with that mess of sails and mast's
I like the lone ship in background to give us the best effect.

Regards
Jeppe

ola Miguel !
Pierrot

Hi Miguel,

It's indeed a kinda chaos, but it's constructive! Very good composition.

Cheers!

Very confusing compo, but I suppose that's the point. Good overall effect. I wonder how it would have worked out with a shallow DoF.

Hi Miguel
Very high impact shot filling the whole frame with these poles. Nice colour, sharpness and depth. The detail is also impressive with lots to notice. Well done.
