Photographer’s Note

The little bridge was built in the springtime. His gleaming steel frame arched across a small ravine. Underneath his body was a swiftly flowing river. The little bridge liked listening to water rushing through the ravine. It made him feel excited to be alive. As spring warmed into summer, the little bridge enjoyed long days of sunshine. People often held picnics in a nearby meadow, and the little bridge loved helping them walk over the ravine. And the people were always friendly. Occasionally they even gave him compliments, calling his structure "quaint" or "picturesque." These remarks made the little bridge sparkle with pride.

Phillipe is this the same bridge as the other? I like this kind of pictures. Nice colors. Mabey you must try to get the people of the picture?? Other angle.. Neverthelles i like this one.

I recognized this tree, too, before reading Robbert's note. A beautiful tree, bridge, and a very nice composition, Philippe. I like very much the play of light and shadows, which creates wondertful tones of brown and green. A very tranquil shot. I think that you could remove the people from the scene (or wait until they go). Well done.

Another pleasant scene, Philippe. Nice angle of the bridge in your composition, and it also works as a good "connector" into the left part of your shot. The impressive tree looked like an old acquaintance to me, and I actually like the two people. Good handling of light. This scene should look incredible in spring or summer, with the trees wearing the respective seasonal colors.

Your note is a good tribute to something mundane. I wish I can see more of the water but anyway, this is a good angle as it leads our eyes to the big tree which sort of anchor the bridge. Good shot.

Je ne sais pas quel age a cette arbre mais il est pas jeune vu la taille qu'il par rapport au homme !
Bien vu de l'avoir pris quand il ya du monde a coté cela nous donne une bonne idée de la grosseur du tronc.
J'aime bien cette composition simple mais efficace nous montrant un lieu de ballades ou de repos en toute tranquillité !

A very "picturesque" shot. The lighting is perfect and the long shadows are great. The moss covered tree is a beautiful green and the details of the bridge are shown well. Maybe I would have moved a little more to the right to get the entire grounding of the bridge on this bank but it works nicely like this, also. I also really like your story. It matches the scene very nicely and reall adds life to this bridge and lets us see the world from the viewpoint of the bridge. Very nicely done for both.

Un projectile très "pittoresque". L'éclairage est parfait et les longues ombres sont grandes. L'arbre couvert par mousse est un beau vert et les détails du pont sont montrés bien. Peut-être j'aurais déplacé peu davantage vers la droite d'obtenir fondre entier du pont là-dessus cette banque mais des travaux bien comme ceci, aussi. J'aime également vraiment votre histoire. Elle assortit la scène très bien et le reall ajoute la vie à ce pont et nous laisse voir le monde du point de vue du pont. Très bien fait pour tous les deux.

Car depuis tant d'années c'était pas une sinécure de lui voir toujours le nez au milieu de sa figure..........

Voilà un arbre qui a du être photographié quelques fois à travers les époques qu'il a traversées. Il est effectivement très impressionant si on se réfère aux passants à l'arrière pour peu qu'ils se trouvent sur le même plan. Si ce n'est pas le cas ils amplifient la taille de l'arbre ce qui est également bien vu ;)

Votre descriptif a ete tres bien trvaille comme d'habitude et je pense que vous avez aussi la plume facile.La photo vue en grand format avec du recul doit surement etre toute a fait autre chose.La nettete est remarquable et les couleurs bien rendues.Une prise de vue que je trouve pour moi tres difficile car l'arbre attire le regard plus que le pont.J'espere ne pas vous ofenser avec mes propos.

Bonsoir Philippe,

Le pont dirige notre regard ver le gros arbre. La présence des personnes donne une idée de la grandeur de l'endroit. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Le sujet est bien cadrée.
