[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While waiting for an interview in the port, I was suprised by this strange, chaotic arquitecture made out of wood and plastic. Cannes, paradise of the mediterranean sailing. One of the main caracteristic of the film festival is the huge amount of boat you can see both in the port and near the beach. In fact many of the celebrations take place on board the boats. I hope you like this mess side of Cannes life while I prepare the photos of people and places. Take care.

bonsoir Miguel
en attendant les photos des stars, j'aime bien la compo avec ces deux mâts verticaux qui structurent l'image.
Il y a une belle pagaille, des couleurs.
J'aime bien, mais il manque quelque chose...
j'ai essayé un ws pour expliquer.

Hello Miguel. I imagine that you had a good time in Cannes! Although I understand your admiration of the chaos, I miss a real subject in this picture. If there is any point where the eye tends to go, then it must probably be the two vertical posts in the foreground. But they are not very attractive. Perhaps using a wide angle with a large DoF and a nice small subject in the foreground would have been more effective. Pascal's WS is already quite an improvement, IMHO.

Hi Miguel, this really conforms to my impression of this town, and a good PoV making interesting patterns from the masts and rigging.

I'm speculating on your interviewee.

What did you make of Pedro's latest, his is often my favourite of the year.
