Photographer's Note
Hunting = Murder
This picture is disgusting. I know it is disgusting and it is precisely for that reason that I have posted it. It was taken during a walk in the forest near Creil. I saw the "Chasse = meurtre" sign and thought nothing of it early on in the walk - just some animal rights activisits, maybe. It was only later on that we came across a hole in the ground full of deer and boar carcasses, killed and emptied by hunters. What particularly struck me was the foetus of the unborn boar on the top right... Sorry if I have offended anybody - nice picture tomorrow, I promise!gadinga, sakuran, randompics, TheG1, Jeppe has marked this note useful

not a very tasteful picture, but it displays reality. And reality is not always beautiful.

This pic make me sick, it is truly the most disgusting pic I have seen on TE.
But the purpose is good, and you have convinced me, I have been a vegetarian for the past 10 years, after seeing this, I know I will never eat meat ever again!
So, this pic is great after all, it goes right into heart and soul. Very well done.

A+

No offence taken Jamie this is what TE is all about wether or not you agree with it is purely personal. people might like to view this earlier picure posted here http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/Thailand/photo12824.htm ( soory I dont know how to make this into a short cut).
Back to the picture the colour and Dof filed is well done and tells the story the photographer wishes us to understand so this well done.

That is pretty gross Jamie. All of it looks so fresh too like they just left that there the day you took it. I would like to hear more about this carcass dump site. Is it designated for this purpose? You think those hunters in Creil could at least throw a little dirt on top of that mess. Maybe you can add the carcasses from your "hunting" adventures to this pile. Hmm do broken shards of a window count? :)
I am glad that you included the sign that you saw just before that really ties everything together. But still even though you taught everyone something it is still very disgusting.

It is a poignant image that emphasizes the message of protest by its composition, color and subject. Great photojournalism style.

C'est la vie. Crule signs of reality. Anyway, in one of days we all will be here (black irony, sorry).
Good photo,
Thanks,
Maria
