The highest tide, or "maree haute" of the year in Le Guilvinec, at 18:20 PM exactly, force 115, after it slowly calms down.
This little boy was braving the forces of the Ocean, and he was having the time of his life, in front of us and his friends, secured on top of the belvedere, but a little bit worried because some waves would go as high as the buildings behind on the water-front, with a restaurant, on the right, advestising for its panoramic view over the harbour. It was under the water, for half an hour... |

excellent reportage. On se rend compte de la puissance de la marée montante et de l'assaut qu'elle donne à la digue... une vague même passe dessus le muret comme une langue venant attraper le passant par derrière. Belle lumière bretonne bien rendu (exactement celle de "Western" d'ailleurs)

Great shot of the angry sea very dramatic the bit of waves coming over the wall towards the boy. Great shot.
