Only Two Months Ago Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken only two months ago! It seems so far away seeing how warm it is outside.

THis is the Orlu valley, a small pretty valley not faar from Andorra. We were walking through the snowed in paths and cute villages.

At the end of the walk, a nice meal at a country restaurant.

Hi Daniel,
I was thinking to myself how great the weather is now a matter of minutes ago! Such a contrast to now. This tight crop works well and it's a great example (to me) of how not including the whole object can work well. By that I mean that I would likely want to frame the bridge fully... but I seriously doubt that the result would be anywhere close to this.
So well done :)

I love the light on the bridge and church tower. The shaded mountains behind make a perfect background. Normally this POV putting the bridge on a horizontal would be a mistake, chopping the image in two, but I don't think any other way would have worked here.

Salut Daniel,
Belle compo et belle lumière sur ce pont de pierre et l'église derrière. Je regrette juste que tu n'aies pas posté une image un peu plus grande, car je trouve celle-ci un peu petite.

Dont do that daniel, Im tying to forget winter. But seriously, beautiful photo here Daniel. The light is fantastic, the colors too. Your framing is interesting as well. I think the bridge doesnt rally chop the photo in two..I think its an interesting element in the photo. Would be lovely to have a couple walking across it.

A well composed shot of this inspiring scene from a low angle POV. I like the crisp clarity of the shot. The river, the bridge, the tower, and the background mountani slope are all seen in fine detail, with superb graphism. Very fine work, Daniel. I like it.
