A 300 km/h Photo | TrekEarth

Photographer’s Note

This is a view I took from the train (Thalys) between Paris and Lyon, in Bourgogne, I think. The speed of my train at the moment of this picture was 300 km/h (187.5 mi).
I was also on the first LGV (Ligne à grande vitesse - High speed line) inaugurated in 1981 and the commercial exploitation of this railway line began in 1983 with TGV (train à grande vitesse - high speed train).

Le rendu de la vitesse est là. les deux obliques ,celle des rails flous au premier plan et celle de la route en contre point donnent du mouvement. Avec comme touche finale la courbe en arrière plan qui guide jusqu'à la maison placé juste au 2/3. A plus de 300km cela relève de l'exploit. Bravo

Les traces dans le ciel doivent correspondre à la vitre du TGV. ( un petit traitement logiciel corrigera ce petit défaut)

Notre ami Hassan a tout dit sur la composition (je ne vais pas paraphraser).
Photo très originale. Tous les ingrédients sont présents pour une composition réussie.

Fred what a great shot. Difficult to make, but you did it! Very sharp with this kind op speed trough a window. And a lot of dept. a big smiley for this one.

TRES bonne image avec un remarquable piqué pour une photo en deplacement.
L'impression de vitesse est egalement très bonne avec les rails.

Welcome back, Fred. Yeah I'd agree with the others that this is well done. Nice effect of the "speed blur" on the tracks in the foreground, and good sharpness of the landscape and the buildings outside.

Et bien même a 300kms tu nous sort de belle image et la sensation de vitesse est vraiment bonne.

WOW Fred, I'm amazed by how sharp this photo is. Considering you were traveling in 300 km/h. Very well done. You tok teh picture in the right moemnt as well. I like how it is devided in to difrent sections, seperated by the road.
