Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken almost from the same point of view as my first picture of the cathedral .
The height of the ceiling is 48 meters, one of the tallest (if not the tallest) of the world. Keep in mind that this building was build in the 13th century in about 50 years.
At the bottom, you can see a painted scultpure in four parts telling about the baptism of Jesus Christ.

What I admire most about these pictures of old European cathedrals is the wonderful workmanship of the tradesmen of those early centuries, and the time they took to build them (50 years in this case!)
It must be a celestial experience to look up 48 meters to such an arched ceiling.
The acoustics must be quite impressive also Lau? Thanks for the interior view .

Very nice. You really get a sense for the height of the building here. In fact I think Amiens has the tallest nave of all the Gothic churches. The windows filled with light is great, also. When added with the height and your angle it creates that heavenly feel of the church. Very nice.

A very nice composition with a good light,
not too dark, not too light.
Very well done, Lau !
