Photographer’s Note
Hi photographers !
At the request of some members here, I post another picture, it's a long while ago I did and I had to see, how everything works:-))
Okay then for now, a castle.
Here's Chateau De Josselin, a big one, a beautiful one !
The vast fortress of Josselin, built in XIe century, was rebuilt by Olivier de Clisson in XIVe century. At the end of XVe century, Alain de Rohan and Jean II work with embellissement of their castle. One owes them the frontage of blazing style, prefiguration of the Breton rebirth, which contrasts with the turns and defensive walls. The interior, restored at the XIXe century, shelters rare parts of furniture. The castle belongs since the origin to the family of the dukes of Rohan. To have a good sight of the castle, to place itself on the Sainte-Croix bridge which spans Oust. The cliff of the walls is seizing. The building presents here under its aspect of fortress, with high towers, courtines and machicolations.

Welcome back Hans, yes it is indeed since we've seen a post from you, and nice to see another of your inventive architecural shots. A step further with this one, I especially like the leaves at the top of the frame.

Hi Hans,
Glad to see you again after a long absence with this water mirroring reflection capture of this majestic castle in a excelent compositional enquadrement and with some colorful leaves at the top. It's seems like a storm grey day with wind and the leaves flying! Good soft color tones and a nicely done artwork. Congratulations and all the best to you.
Have a nice Sunday.

Hi Hans
Good to see you back. I like this shot a lot. In the thumbnail I couldn't really tell it was a reflection, and thought maybe it was shot in the mist. Seeing the larger image it immediately makes sense and I like the dreamy quality given to the strong lines of the castle walls and towers by the rippling water and the floating leaves.
Very nice

What a good surprise ! Welcome back my Friend ! :-))))
Leaves in the "sky", that's just magic. At the first sight, as Rossignol said, I also thought it was a castle in the fog. Nice idea. I hope you'll show us soon plenty of your nice ideas...
Delighted to see you again, really !

This is certainly the best and the most impressive side of the famous castle. This reflection gives a nice idea of the power of the past military place and also the past political place against the power of some French kings. This one is certainly more the symbol of the particularities of Brittany, than tis one from Nantes (Anne's duchess) wich was the symbol of Brittany been offered to France by a simple Wedding :-)) and this Parliament of Rennes wich is to tight to Paris, not to be representative of our freedom :-))
Thats a well done Composition, Hans and I am happy to see you back sometimes, even if it is at a time I am Posting less, been busy in other domains.
Friendly

groet Rob

Bonjour mon ami Hans,

Hello Hans,
Very good idea!i'am jealous,i know the place and i know how difficult it is to take the castle in is entire size, the quiet water of Oust is a nice mirror, the soft colors gives a timeless mood,
have a nice week end,
vincent
