Salut Arnaud,
there is no escaping the M. It is omnipresent, invading the view... one of the best-known logos of the world. And your juxtaposition of that neon sign is fabulous with these people who light incense and no doubt are praying and reflecting. A very nice b/w! Must have been great fun to be together at the CYR!

Bonsoir Nono. Très busy ta photo, mais le nouvel an Chinois est déjà très busy en soi et lorsqu'on y ajoute un McMao...évidemment, c'est surpeuplé! Pas mal la compo de la foule (j'aime le point de vue), mais je ne suis pas très convaincu par le flou en bas de l'image...

la vignette était en train de souvrir que moi aussi j'ai dit "p*t*in" y a le "M" !!!
mais après ta scène prend le dessus, une "fulltitude" de gens, de choses à regarder. le visage et le regard de la dame au chapeau est quasiment hypnotique ! j'aime bcp ton n&b. belle photo.

Superbe ce n/b, j'aime bien cette concentration autour d'un autel.
IL faut croire que le - M- c'est bien bridé de point vue décor.

Hi Arnaud,

Haha, it took me a few seconds to realise what the big M was, but I see it now! Very well done... it is a blending of tradition with... well, probably just a newer tradition, as I don't see McDonald's going anywhere soon.
I particularly like the woman in the foreground, she really helps give the shot a "togetherness", which is wonderful.

Tu as vraiment une approche très différente de celles présentés jusqu'ici du nouvel an et je dois dire que je suis vraiment sous le charme de tes photos.
On te sent bien plus proche de la communauté qui est venu assister au grand défilé. C'est du backstage..
