Photographer’s Note
By day, he is confined to a carousel, bearing children on his back. By night, he is free to pursue his dreams, to leap high, to laugh at the cold snow in the air.

Hello Ken,
You know, looking at that picture, I feel like a kid. Try to imagine me with my mouth open, saying "Ooooooooooooo...", and my eyes with some stars in them, shining... You will have a good idea of what was my reaction when I saw that picture today. You achieve to create a very dreamy effect with the horse (pp?, the curious grownup in me!). I just wish that the lamppost was not there... Very good composition! A powerful picture, a way to dreams...

Hi Ken,
This is very pleasant to look at.. thanks to your original perspective and composition. I like everything about this photo except the lamp post. I wish it wasn't there. Of course, you couldn't do anything about it. Still, a wonderful capture.
Cheers,
Skye

Great idea to put this carousel horse in the frame, and I like the positioning too, with the horse at the top, appearing to jump over the tower. It's hard to come up with something original for a subject like the Eiffel Tower, but you pulled it off with this one. Great work!

Hi Ken. I really couldn't work this one out when I saw the thumbnail, but I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw when I opened it. You have succeeded in finding a completely new angle from which to shoot the Eiffel Tower - and a very unusual one at that. I agree with Claire and Skye that it would have been better without the lamp post, but its still a very creative composition. Cheers . . . David

Paris is one of the four cities in this world I LOVE!
I haven't been there in.... wow, 11 years :(
Your photo reminds me that dreams should always stay with us.
I feel like riding that horse to Paris, to feel its magic again...
Thank you, Ken

Hi Ken,
Photo has very artistic character. White and yellow colors stand out really well against dark sky. Great composition of Eifell tower lines with the direction of the horse.
