I made a two hours walk from the little village of Cervieres to get up to this place called la lauzette 2339 meters high. It's an old mountain fort position that controls the road coming from the col de l'Izoard (background left),going to Briancon.
This pict was taken from the North.
The little road at foreground is a military road, that is possible to take by car . itook this picture in October, I didn't meet anyone during my trek. |

j'aime bien voir les arbres qui paraient dores. c'est comme le paysage dans le calendrier. et la plaine a droite est tres soigneuse. elle monte jusqu'a une montagne enneige.tres bien!
