The Saint Martin's Church is registered with the inventory of the historic buildings; built during 12ème/13ème/14ème centuries: gate semicircular arch, square bell-tower capped as a saddle-roof.
Small village comprising 160 inhabitants approximately.
Historical general information: Mentioned in the 12th century, "Fremontz". Etymology: Cold mount. Concerning stronghold the Lord Marquis de Rumont. Parish with the collation of the archbishop of Sens.

what a most charming church, and the cloud is great, just perfectly there. Excellent texture on the church walls anf the clors as always are stunning. I love the road on the right leading away from this pretty building.
The tower is awesome.

très belle photo qui met très bien en valeur cette magnifique église. Les abords de cette église ont su être préservés de toute "pollution" (style panneau ou gros lampadaire) mais cela est certainement du au fait qu'elle soit inscrite à l'inventaire des monuments historiques.

Another charming find for your book with this old countryside church, Philippe. Nice stonework, looking vivid due to the good contrast and sharpness of the presentation. Also good to see it surrounded by the colorful beds of flowers, and the neat deep blue sky.

On sent bien l'amour que tu portes a ces vieilles pierres chargées d'histoire,
tu les mets a l'honneur en les photographiant ainsi, dans toute leur splendeur, cela devient contagieux et j'en suis victime (suis pas le seul!!)
j'apprécie la netteté de l'ensemble, faisant ressortir chaque détail du monument, les petites touches de verdure sont un plus indéniable.

L'angle de prise de vue qui permet à la partie supérieure de bien se détacher sur fond de ciel bleu est très bien choisi.
La belle lumière de juin a été bien utilisée.

Détails très bons de Philippe rendus dans cette scène. J'aime le ciel bleu lumineux, et le bâtiment a les détails attrayants. Une photo bien prise. Je suggérerais cependant que l'emblavage outre du fond soit peu un serré. C'est mon impression seulement. La voie vers la droite semblerait gentille pour l'avoir incluse car accès à cet endroit. Espérez les travaux de cette traduction pour vous. Acclamations et tout le meilleur à vous mon ami !

Hi Philippe,
This is different cook than churches in the snow. One of my next contribution will be the church in Vellerup Lars promised. That wasn’t a typical Danish church but more in “your style”. We are still searching for some more information, but until now we could only find the date of the next service and the name of the vicar.
This picture is of course again one of that beautiful and famous “Papagolf” pictures.

This is a very beautiful picture, full of colour. Everything is in its place, including the small cloud in the beautiful blue sky.
It is very difficult to add anything to your pictures. My only comment is that, although the building is perfectly in the center, as it should, it is a pity that the letters made with flowers, and probably saying "Fromont" were not complete.
