hi Alon,
you are wright, fontains and statues so bad illuminated, approach the kitsch... but, your choice to use the star filter, made this shot more than interesting! from technical view, i have to say that is a very good composition. bravo!

Wow, this is a good way to modernize and old fountain. So colorful. Is very hard to portrait the magic of the lights. But, you did an outstanding work. This must be a very unique event. Thee point of view is excellent. The filter was a very nice option. Very well done, thanks for sharing. Gabriel

Hi Alon,
Another great shot. This Fêtes des Lumières is really beautiful. I love the way this fountain is lit up with the different colors and the effect of your star filter is excellent here. Good idea to have used the vertical format to include the moon in your picture.

Waouh, what an explosion of colors, it's definitely a very sophisticated lighting technique to get all these colors on a single statue, and it's really splendid to see, I was wondering about the star effect @ f/5.6, but reading the note I understood.

Hey Alon,

stunning colors and the star effects from the lights are excellent! I wish they filled the whole photo so the dark sky is a bit disappointing only in how its not filled by the wonderful lights. Full marks though!

Alon nice work in this time exposure. The lighting is fantastic. Any photographer would have to have his camera and tripod ready. A wonderful display of light Alon!
