Early-morning in Paris Photo

Photographer’s Note

Paris seen from La Defense in the "early" morning.
At first I though the the Eifeltower was covered by Christo, but no.......behind the Eifeltower is the high tower of Montparnasse.
The clouds and the yellow sky with the frame of the high buildings made this nice compo.

Hi ALbrecht, good compo, indeed! Three horizontal stripes, and the two vertical on the left give to the photo a geometrical characterization. Hope you were not in a banlieu ...

this one is very beautiful... the yellow sky is very attractive... a special thing is that this building at the left and the tower adjacent to it making this one a different... and in thumbnail it's like modern art painting too...

Interesting and original way of portraying the Eiffel tower :)
I like the graphical layout of this picture, even though I think a little more space between the outline of the tower(s) and the building on the left would have been beneficial.

Bonjour Albrecht,
Très curieuse et très belle réalisation de Paris vue de la Défense. L'on dirait que la Tour Eiffel s'est emmaillotée avec la Tour Maine Montparnasse lié à l'effet de zoom. J'aime le rendu général de cette composition avec ce ciel jaunâtre.
J'aime beaucoup.

We see tons of photos from Paris, but the framing of this one is so original as is the juxtaposition of the to towers and the building on the left.

Great one, the mood of a city, the light before the daily battle of surviving. The composition with the skycraper in the left is very good. Good eye. I feel like thinkfull in front of this photo.

This is a strange feeling. At first glance it seems as though the Eifeltower is wrapped in scaffolding or covers, the building behind is eerie. Still the warm colours are magic.

You must have been up early!

great, original shot of a view that is seemingly so well known- but here it's served in a new kind of vision- graphic and modern set against the symbol of Paris.I love the colour of the sky, the composition, you had a really great idea to show it from this point of view.

Beautiful framing of this Parisian view, Albrecht - the highrise at the left was well included to start the reading, and the perspective towards the Eiffel Tower is certainly a new one that we don't get to see every day. Beautiful colors and a nice hazy effect towards the horizon. I'm a bit confused about your references to early morning though, as the exif data show a timestamp of 16:53.

Really strong graphism here, Albrecht. I think it can be cropped a little bit on the right to erase the GFF building but it's just an opinion. Anyway, it is really good work: well framed, good exposure and warm colors (of course you have a nice camera ;-)

An impressive and well composed early morning shot of the city. I like this unique view and the dichotomy between the old and new; the building in the foreground has good green reflections and the sky prevailing is surreal. The patch of park greenery in the foreground enhances and helps nicely frame the scene. Very well captured.

Wauw, zo zie je Parijs niet vaak 's ochtends op zo'n manier. Hoe je het weer voor elkaar krijgt dat je het gebouw perfect tegen de Eiffel toren aankrijgt is mijn een raadsel ;) Jammer dat dat gebouw achter de eiffel toren er staat, zou helemaal mooi geweest zijn als de gele achtergrond erdoorheen zou zijn gekomen.

the soft sunrise light is fantastic and well captured.
the skyscrapers of Defense composed a beautiful frame and the Eiffel tower is perfectly composed in the shot!
