Château de Cormatin,

carefully restored in the 80ies, well known for its Louis XIII interior and park.

Centerpoint of the maze is the 'Volière', build as a small tower with a steel forged top, from which the view was taken.

Hi Knut,
I find a nice idea with design work on the foreground, very nice picture, but also the castle in background is fantastic real colours in a very beautiful composition. A pity for the white sky, but I like the picture as now.

Très jolie prise de vue à travers ces magnifiques grilles en fer forgé. L'idée est très originale, elle permet de voir le château entouré de douves et de son parc joliment décoré.
Très belle réussite.

Salut KNut,
UN joli chateau, ce que j'apprecie beaucoup ici c'est ta mise au point, pas facile du tout d'avoir la grille et le chateau bien nets et tu y as tres bien reussi. Par contre, je cropperais ce truc noir en bas qui attire trop l'attention.

Hi Knut,
A unique and interesting perspective. The foreground is a real subject on its own, with intriguing wrought iron work which acts as a perfect frame for the bucolic scene beyond. The eye follows the many lines and shapes, including the way that the paths and garden rows intersect. This is very artistically conceived and presented, Knut. I like the shot very much.

tres tres bien à la finale comme on dit mais quand même
moi aussi je cropperais le bas et le machin noir.9à gache!
NB : c'est la première fois que j'utilise le verbe "cropper" parce que je crois avoir compris sa signification grâce au commentaire de Pixel Terror! c'est fou ce qu'on apprend sur TE
