In the town of Saint Claude in the French Jura.
The town is famous for pipes & has it's own diamond & pipe museum, which was more interesting than it sounds.
Loved the contrast of this giant pipe with the folk strolling past & the winter sunlight lighting the hill
taken on an Olympus 860L |

Hi Alastair, well done, it is a beautiful and amusing photo, the colors and the frame are beautiful.
Congratulations
Vinicio
Bonjour Alastair,
You couldn't have found a better place to illustrate that small town, well done! :o)
* NOTE: - For a better presentation of the list of locations, to prevent multiple inscriptions and to make research easier, it would be nice to write the names in small letters, beginning with a capital, connecting nouns with a slash/hyphen ["-"] except after articles as: Le, La, Les, or d' and not using any abbreviation (St > Saint).
So it should be: Saint-Claude, rather than: Saint Claude.
Could you please make this change by clicking on "Edit" in the left colom? The webmaster and I would be very thankful.
