Photographer’s Note
It’s your turn to enjoy this kind of view, since my time is over for the moment. A rather nice view may I say, and I would gladly take your place if you’re not feeling very enthusiastic with your next travel.
Of course a bit difficult to say exactly where this was taken. Somewhere above France I guess. I was gently falling asleep while looking at her rocking feet going forward and backward. I could endure that vision for a long, long time if you ask me.

You've been looking at Isabel's photos again... ;-)
Very clever idea with the narrow depth of field the primary dimension, though I like the row of seats and the length of carpet in the aisle. Good eye Gal, noting this person's foot extending into the aisle and making a photo of that simple fact. Well done, especially at 1/20th and 800 ISO.

se me permite a sugestão, M. Erudito-e-super-ocupado-com-o-que-realmente-importa, but back to the business, donne un cup d´oeil ici e você saberá do que falo.

nice shot Gal
I like the DOF
gives a sense of isolation...empty seats at the surroundings?
the lines of the floor lead the eyes to an unknown destination, but her foot stands out
I like it

Super compo, Gal.

Très belle réalisation en tous cas ! ! !
Merci pour le partage
Amicalement

Gal, great shot. It's the lack of other people and the clean appearance of the floor that makes the picture very powerful. I am used to seeing all kinds of stuff lying on aircraft floors, but this is not the case in your picture. Very good result and very nice crop. And what I think is funny, is the fact that the picture is a little soft which creates the "gently-falling-asleep"-feeling that you describe in your note.

Bonjour Gal,

Bravo.

Oh, you're back posting again, I thought you'd bowed out. Good to see this (Isabel inspired?) novel compo, a beautifully seen shot, with the leg making an interesting break in the repition.

Very dreamy. The lighting is so soft and the DOF is so shallow, and all those chairs are lined up like so many sheep waiting to leap over an imaginary fence. The little bit of purple is so nice, too.
Glad to see you back. Your new intro photo is so smiley -- it's a bit disconcerting.

Hello Gal,
Biem vu !

Oi buddy, yes I too like the leg (you aren't a bit surprised, I guess ;-), all attention is drawn to it, due to your clever DoF, and the lines in the carpet. No escaping.
I can imagine that the slowly rocking of the feet was sleep inspiring. Nice dreams?
You didn't do bad at 1/20, Gal.

Gal, It a great daily life shot, with a good photographers note. Excellent use of a narrow dof. The picture creates a good story. Excellent sharpness on the subject and saturation of colours. Well done!

Theres a lot of sensuality here. The shape of her foot, the leg on display. Its a photo full of suggestions and possibilities, very much a tease.

I really think this picture is one of the best I've ever seen on TE. It is amazing how a foot can express so much just by being well focused by expert eyes. There is no need to talk about technical details, the moment is everything in this picture.
Brilliant job!

Javier

I like the view here. I cannot explain exactly why, but I like the focus on her leg and dark shadows around the frames. It makes me feel that I am looking at the leg through your eyes. Nice work.
