Photographer's Note
The end of "Gay Pride" march (sorry, I always forget it new name!) approaches the place de la Bastille.
About 150 metres further up the boulevard. Si close to the goal, it's time at last to:
sit down at a bus stop, to get back your breath,
ease up your feet after hours of walking and dancing (and you can see that little sailor girls favor high heels while taller sailor boys don't),
stop listening to the deafening sounds of techno music,
sip some drink,
crack a joke...
In 15 minutes, groups of policemen will order all the fresh beverages and food sellers on the sidewalks to shut down their activities and to pack up again.
The orange flashing lights of green clening vehicles are visible in the distance. No effort will be wasted to scrap, swipe and wash away crushed aluminium cans, discarded flyers and confettis which materialise the path of the hundreds of thousands of people who have been there, this afternoon.
The party's almost over.
So, what'll be next, now?
