This is the "Reserve de Neouvielle" (French National Park), a lesser known jewel hidden in the Central Pyrenean mountains. This picture is taken at 2160 meters, while the highest among the three peaks seen (at right, the "Pic de Neouvielle") is 3091 meters high.

Jolie vue du neouvielle (j'en est qu'elles une d'identiques), et chapeau pour être monter jusqu'ici a vélo.

Hi JeanPierre...nice image. I like your composition and DOF. If the image was taken in Scotland, you could say that the object in the middle of the fjord was the loch ness monster.

Un endroit assez impressionnant. C'est amusant, je ne l'aurais pas situé en France, si j'avais dû deviner. Un Canadien qui me fait découvrir mon pays, c'est assez drôle aussi.
Bravo pour la vue, mais aussi pour la prouesse sportive !

On en voit de belles choses à l'étranger quand on est à l'affût.

Le décor est superbe et c'est encore plus impressionnant de voir un lac aussi calme à 2160 mètres d'altitude.

Belle prise de vue. La photo me rappelle notre voyage dans les Pyrénées en juin 2005. Nous avons fait le sentier des Laquettes dans la réserve de Néouvielle. De merveilleux paysages en effet. Voici deux liens sur mes photos de Néouvielle :
