Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken looking north along the coast in Nice. I liked the superimposition of the metal railing against the beach. It was a very cloudy, cold day which is why the beach is empty. I considered trying to make the sky look blue but I like the pastel appearance of the city.
This is a scanned photo. Dust and scratches were removed and it was rotated to straighten the horizon.
