Photographer’s Note

Théoule sur Mer is a quiet holiday resort with attractive beaches, creeks set among red cliffs, hiking paths through the Esterel mountains, walks through the Pointe de l'Aiguille park.

Since Antiquity, Théoule sur Mer has been considered as a shelter for boats, thanks to a river of fresh water that arrived in the bay of the city. This natural advantage was largely enjoyed by the sailers, who didn't need to come alongside to fulfill their stock of water.

This image was taken during a 2 hour walk through la pointe de l'aiguille, where you can admire a fantastic panorama on the coast and the islands.
