Photographer’s Note
Petite France in Strasbourg boasts some wonderful half-timbered houses, especially down by the water. On a sunny afternoon that at the end of April felt like summer, with the shadows starting to lengthen, it was coolest down by the water, and this is where many of my pictures were taken that day. The wide pavement that can be seen in this shot is the end of the terrace crowded with the chairs and tables of waterside cafes and restaurants. This photo best captures for me the languorous feeling of that afternoon.
From original, just rotated, leveled and unsharpen masked at 0.7 and 0.4 pixels to compensate for resizing.

I love the rounds wheels and the rectangular windows and buildings... a great contrast. Very nicely noticed Robert.
