Photographer’s Note

Calvi is a port of 6,000 inhabitants located on the gulf of Calvi, on the west coast of Corsica, and protected by a fortified citadell built on a rocky promontory. Because of its strategic location, Calvi was involved in most of the events of the complicated history of Corsica.
