Middle-class city with an architectural and maritime heritage very rich.
The prefecture city of MORBIHAN has a college of Jesuits and a garrison of troop of navy.
VANNES is surrounded by ramparts whose ditches are decorated gardens "à la française".
At the bottom the castle of Hermine (rebuilt about 1800)and St.Peter Cathedral.
The tower on the left is called the Tower of the Constable, in remembering of the constable Clisson which was locked up there.
Tomorrow I will present to you the splendid laundrettes of the 17 E century, in front of the door POTERNE.

Hope you like it.
