Photographer’s Note

i went for a walk in Parc Monceau and saw this lady peacefully by herself. I took only 1 photo before her grandson (?) met her and they left... the peaceful moment was gone and it blew my idea that she was enjoying time by herself, but i still used that title because i think that's what she represents in my picture, i hope you don't mind!
the light looks harsh but remember this was january, winter time in Paris, and the winter sun is never too warm...

Ohh, I can relate to that!!!
I think this is a nice image overall, but harsh light conditions somewhat take away from the image. Like the choice of black and white, think makes the image timeless, good composition, bottom right looks a bit empty, almost wish the pigeon would be there and not under the bench to balance the composition.

C'est beau elena, le B&W est très bien rendu avec de beaux contrastes. Un endroit calme où chacun trouve sa place, le pigeon semble rechercher l'ombre et cette personne profite du peu de soleil qu'un mois de janvier peut donner. Beau travail.

Gostei deste preto e branco. Mas o que gostei mesmo foi de ter a honra de completar seus pontos para o quadrado DOURADO! Parabéns e obrigado!!!!!
