Photographer’s Note

This is a picture of a rainbow (obviously) over paris last year. I was looking out of the window and thought the sky was a particularly nice colour when I spotted the rainbow. I then grabbed the camera and ran across to the Eiffel tower to grab a couple of shots with the Tower in the picture as well. I just managed the 10 minute run before the rainbow disappeared.

Very distinctive presentation David. You get excellent detail in this format, which can be a challenge with only 200 kb available. What is especially nice is that in addition to the rainbow in its different incarnations, you give us lovely details of the structures close at hand. Wonderful light and color as well. This is very fine work.

splendid shot David! this montage is excellent and capturing the rainbow is quite difficult sometimes, especially when one wants to set the curves against the eiffel tower or any other monument. well done! a very romantinc shot IMO!

Altough your nick means "blue day" you show us three excellent photos of a grey day in a beautiful collage. Difficult to decide which one I like more. Probably the one with the house and the rainbow above it is my favorite because I like the lights on the windows.

Tryptique très sympathique et agréablement disposé, j'aime beaucoup. Il est assez rare de voir un superbe arc en ciel dans Paris.

Bonjour David,
Une composition originale, c'est assez rare d'avoir la chance de pouvoir associer un arc-en ciel avec la tour Eiffel sur un même cliché! Les couleurs sont très belles, et le ciel superbe. Bravo!
