I have decided to discover Bordeaux, because when I go downtown, I always walk in the same streets, places, avenues....
So, having a map, I have prepared my walk to discover some "new" areas. There is an area called Mériadeck with lots of new buildings and bridges to avoid to cross the streets, so good high POVs to disover the city street life. Just open your eyes and mind.....

Hello, I like what you said about opening your eyes and mind. The world is a fascinating place and there are ample opportunities for photography. So your image is a good street scene with lots of lines and directions. Perfect in a vertical frame.

What a good idea to explore your own town! And what better way to capture "candid" street shots than from bridges and walkways above street level - people in the street rarely look upwards so that's a perfect way to capture them with your camera!
This is such a simple composition - just a cyclist and some road markings - but it is very effective indeed and all the elements are very nicely arranged within the frame. Excellent technical quality too.

Such a simple subject but a great 'novel' view and one which works perfectly as a b&w shot in this fine composition.
The cyclist is heedless of your instructions!!
Have a great day,

it sounds like an exciting walk in search of new challenges and images. This one is very well composed in a vertical frame where the road and the signs are the only context. The monochrome makes the graphic image even more intriguing, we are enticed to read the lines, study the interaction and anticipate the evolution of the scene. It's fascinating to create new stories out of real materials that we met by chance. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

A shot from above demonstrated your creativity by including those strong and bold diagonal dynamic lines as good compositional element creating a graphical image and pattern giving a new perspective. The lone cyclist is so vital component to make it work, of a fine intriguing capture aptly in mono. Superb shot, tfs.

Hello Claude: Nice use of black and white, graphics, pattern, repeating lines and human element. Your use of thirds is very good as well, with the top and bottom thirds having subjects of interest while the middle third is basically empty. Nicely done. Have a great Sunday!

You have such a great eye for these types of scenes...although, I guess this one just isn't going "right" however. :) This is superb minimalist graphism, and would have even been interesting without the bicyclist simply for the contrast and symbols...but that addition of the human element really makes a strong impact. Wonderfully observed and smartly arranged. Très bien fait! Bonnne semaine.

Very nice perspective here. The b&w and leading lines work really well with this composition.
