Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer this beautiful detail of a beautiful facade of a hotel, the charming Alsatian village of Riquewihr, France. Hope you like it, then some letters on the villa.

Riquewihr in French, Reichenweier in Alsatian, is a town and French commune located in the department of Haut-Rhin, in the Alsace region.
For its beauty and attraction is one of the people identified by the association "Les plus beaux villages de France".

Undoubtedly, Riquewihr is one of the most charming places of Alsace.
It has just over one thousand residents and is about 50 kilometers south of Strasbourg, Colmar between this city and another of the towns of Alsace preserving places of remarkable beauty.

The city has a reputation as a producer of wines, especially Riesling, which is cultivated since ancient times in the countryside that extends around the place, which still retains some of its medieval defensive system.

The experts say that the secret of the wine quality is its geographical location on the sunny side of the Vosges, sheltered from the cold west.
The town retains a special charm and simple.

The urban area retains remarkable flavor houses, some are of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Many of the buildings show an artistic ornament, but most are simple and have the charm of the rural architecture, with its half-timbered and flowered windows.

The town has a local history museum and a small hotel offer.
