Of course it is the exaggerated title. It would be real didiade if it were stitch of fifty images, But I am not so smart and it is just one photo. I was a bit disappointed that one famous inhabitant of Orleans went to south of France. I stayed in orleans only one evening and on the other side of Loire. I went something like 3 kilometers from my hotel(this time my husband was very happy - the car could stand just under the window) planning to visit the cathedral, La Pucelle and some other monuments. But it happened that it was Loire Festival and the river was full of boats. I was so delighted with it that I made only a few minutes walk to the cathedral. In the right corner you can see the tents of the festival. The boats I showed earlier.
I hope that Didi will like the view of Orleans through my lenses :)

A fine mix of excellent architecture and the natural colors of the trees. Nice 50/50 composition allowing them to compliment each other well. The towers of the cathedral rise majestically over the other buildings and give a great impression of its size. You also caught such great textures in all of the various brickwork designs.

A very nice postcard kind of photo. It's amazing what can be done even without stitching several pictures together :-). There seems to be some fine architecture here, and the trees make for a nice change.

A nice panoramic view of this famous city. I understand there are many interesting buildings and sights here, I have still to make a visit here (but I have driven past Orleans many times along the motorway, and I have been to New Orleans...).

The subdued light helps reveal Orleans' panorama, the textures of the architecture and the magnificent Renaissance cathedral in the background.
Thanks for sharing,

Magnificent view of the city, in which stand the impressive towers of its cathedral, along with that of another nearby church, great group of facades we see in the foreground, the trees put a nice touch of color.
Perfect management of both luminosity and excellent sharpness.
Well done. I love the picture.
Enjoy the weekend.

Belle vue panoramique sur la ville dominée par les tours de la cathédrale. Bon cadrage avec les arbres. Bien fait.

The panoramic format is ideal to capture this very attractive and interesting scene. The image is agreeably lit and nicely balanced between nature and architecture, of which there is a very good selection. Pleasant natural colours and very good sharpness.
