Photographer’s Note

October 20, 2004.

As I have reach the 5 MB, you can see the large panorama on my web site.

After having visited Saint-Pierre and the museum of the catastrophe of 1902, we intended to climb the Montagne Pelée (1397 m). But the clouds decided some differently. During the week that we passed to Martinique, the clouds never have quity the top. People having to disadvise to us making the rise under these conditions, we were satisfied to look at it. Here a panorama taken of the place named Observatoire Morne des Carbets, which is in the south of the mountain on the buttresses of the Pitons of Carbet. The sky with these clouds charged was again splendid. On the Caribbean Sea, we distinguishe well a new storm .
