I've seen better shots of this at blue hour but this is one of the better shots I took, despite the overcast weather not cooperating. It seems incredible that it was seriously considered to tear down this iconic structure shortly after the exposition. Fortunately common sense prevailed and it was allowed to stay.

Vue très originale de la fameuse Tour Eiffel. J'aime le cadrage choisi.
Très bonne journée.

though there are numerous pictures on this famous Eiffel Tower, you can produce a nice view of it. Nice black and white treatment. Great graphical effect with those curves and lines. A very well done image. Tfs.

The composition and point of view are well considered in this nicely presented image. The overcast sky makes a good contrast with the dark tones of the structural steel. Superb detail.

J'aime beaucoup le petit côté graphique de cette composition ainsi que la symétrie parfaite qu'apporte le point de vue bien choisi. On voit qu'il y a beaucoup de visiteurs sur place.

Using the arches of the Eiffel tower to frame the background is a good idea. The number of people waiting, is showing that it is a busy place. The cloudy sky is giving a good contrast to the colours. Have a nice day.

I am sorry to say that i don't share the enthousiasm of the others members for this image ;) sorry lol
Someone talked about a good B&W posttreatment ?? where ?
And the light was really hard to deal with, no contrast, and i don't understand your cropping which is good at the top but what about the bottom of the image ?
The people are cut in half...Maybe you cut them off completely or integrate them in the composition ?
Anyway, now you can be hard on your comments about my own images ! lol

Hi Chris, Original shot from under Eiffel Tower. Difficult to make blue hour shot with a cloudy sky. But what a poor traveller can do? Must do the best in present conditions. Nice sharpness. So many people down there!

This is an original view of Eiffel tower Chris, a monument becoming too much costly to visit (to go in the tower itself), good memory of Paris
