Photographer's Note

Villemoustaussou is a small town right in the north of Carcassonne. It knows an important growth of its population these years because of the nearness with the Aude prefecture.
The old village fit closely the lines of a "circulade", these circular villages we can see in Languedoc.
The walls were destroyed during the French Revolution and now there is a large street which goes around the old village.
In the beginning of summer, a big fest called "Moustaussades" with brass bands sets in this circular boulevard.

In the centre of the village sets the Saint-Etienne church (XIII th - XVI th centuries).

Night reflection of the church, after the rain.
