Photographer’s Note

VENACO, large town (666 inhabitants – 565 m of altitude) ideally located at the middle of CORSICA, halfway between the two metropolises which are AJACCIO and BASTIA, are one of the villages which do not die.
To 12 km of CORTE university town, the village attracts young people more and more.
It is a road junction but it is also served by rail. In limit of the commune is it railway viaduct EIFEL which had been already presented to you.
"A Fiera di U Casgiu", the fair of the Corsican cheese which takes place each year in May, attests dynamism of this micro region.
VENACO is the village of my father and remains my village of childhood.
In the centre of the pic, the Michaela's church and on its line, a vault (tomb) family. On left, the district says "Fund of the village" under which railcar passes.

Comment rester insensible à ce genre de photographie, la beauté à l'état pur ; je comprends qu'elle puisse toucher beaucoup d'entre nous et particulièrement l'âme d'enfant.

C'est bien joli Pierre. Classique composition..
J'aime bien ces villagesau milieu des arbres.. la différence entre la Corse et la sardaigne..

Un beau village où je suis passé une fois, et j'espère y passer encore en Juin...Je vais aller me faire deux semaines de vélo en corse avant de rejoindre ma Bretagne...

Again a very nice view of this village, out of other angle but excellent composition, the church in the middle together with lovely green trees, makes you picture completely.

Bonsoir Pierre. Another one of the beautiful Corsican villages, well presented in the fine summer light and with best colors. The church as a main subject, and the residential buildings scattered along the hillside, make for a delightful view in front of the mountain ranges. Very nice shot.

Voilà un superbe point de vue, la photo est très équilibrée entre ciel et village/montagnes. Un décor de carte postale parfaitement mis en valeur par le cadrage et le rendu des couleurs.

Tres belle presentation de Venaco en pkus avec une superbe lumiere ce jour ce qui te donne un resultat tres agreable a regarder.
Decidement tu es comme moi toujours sur les routes ;-)))l'avantage est de tirer de bonnes prises comme celle ci.

tu as cadré la place pour ne laisser qu'un triangle sur la droite qui entouré de verdures nous guide dans la lecture de l'image. l'église, les toits et les montagnes. une très belle vue.

C'est très joli. J'ai dû y passer lors d'une traversée de la corse.
J'aime bien le chataignier sur la droite avec ses feuilles luisantes et aussi la forêt de pins Laricio sur la colline au plan, immédiatement après le village. Voilà c'était l'intermède botanique.
