Photographer's Note

In the late afternoon I found the rear facade of the museum Massey was photogenic and I wanted to share with you for the first day of Heritage Days.
The international collection Hussars offers an overview of one of the most unusual phenomena military and more attractive still linked to a certain imaginary. New spaces follow a chronological presentation of the epic Hussars from 1545 to 1945 through a historical and aesthetic. More than one hundred models and busts, six hundred guns and a hundred paintings tell the story of these turbulent hussars thirty different countries. The public has many tools aside to allow him to visit that return objects in context, weapons and uniforms. It makes use of multimedia collections attractive, accessible and understandable by the largest number of visitors and become actors of their visit.
Present on the first floor, the Beaux-Arts collection offers a selection of the finest works in a course where mythology and religion play a predominant role. It brings together major works of the Italian school and the Dutch and Flemish schools of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and French schools of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Thus, among the most significant works, you will find links to the Christ Pontormo of the Italian school of the sixteenth century, the Judgement of Paris Frans Floris, flamingo Mannerist painter of the sixteenth century, the Drunkenness of Noah in Spanish painting baroque of the seventeenth century, Jesus chasing the merchants from the temple of JG Platzer for the Austrian baroque painting or current orientalist with works such as A. Dauzats.
