Photographer's Note
Prosper Merimée, a french author,was inspired by a local vendetta to write his short story"Colomba", I resume as one the others his quotation: " Sarténe is the most Corsican of the Corsican cities ". The city of 3500 inhabitants is nevertheless led. The city heart and its medieval alleys has some charm.
The city-dwellers can admire the sea down from their headland, it adorned that they rarely go to it.
