Le Louvre. Entrance to the Place Carrée, from the Rue de l'Amiral de Coligny.
At the site of the medieval fortress of the Louvre, the Court Square was completed in XVIIth century under the reign of Louis XIII, by the architect Le Mercier. The style of the court is an example of a new architecture typical French : classicism.

Beautiful..dark, impressionistic B&W, something I like, for the poetry of the moment, rather than a plain old moment..this says more than words.

i am still hoping to meet you in paris one day for a photo session at night along the seine... to shoot photos like this one... and more...

love the blurry walkers agains the ionic columns of the louvre...
