Photographer's Note

Even in Menton, there are "rebels"! Apparently, one of the inhabitants of this building of Menton does not want to make as the others and shows proudly his difference by painting its shutters in green. The photo was taken along the quay Bonaparte.

Même à Menton, il y a des "rebelles"! Visiblement, un des habitants de cet immeuble de Menton ne veut pas faire comme les autres et affiche fièrement sa différence en peignant ses volets en vert. La photo a été prise le long du quai Bonaparte. Vert, orange, .....n'y voyez aucune référence aux élections!

well spotted and an amusing title.Nice light, colours and shading. Interesting to peruse the details.There's is even someone at a window with a mobile phone.Good daily life shot as well as graphically pleasing.

The bright green shutters do stand out well against the building and make a 'statement' as suggested by your title. I also like the figure in the window and other details. Very good colours and shrapness and a well chosen crop and frame.

heureusement qu'il a mis des volets verts, ton rebelle, sinon, la photo arait été moins jolie!Ce petit détail fait toute la différence,et il attire l'oeil dans ces chaudes couleurs harmonieuses.Bon graphisme et joli jeu d'ombre également.

Joli titre pour cette photo, ça m'a bien fait sourire. Une belle présentation et un bon rythme sur cette photo avec la variation de lumière, de couleurs et chaque fenêtre légèrement différente des autres.

Excellent cadrage de ces façades ,avec un 1/3-2/3 parfgait , et quelques élémnnts qui attirent le regard , comme les volets verts , mais aussi la couverture , où la femme à la fenêtre .

Hello Jean Jacques - I quite like to see a bit of rebelliousness don't you? Apart from the brilliant green shutters there are lots of small details in the shot which fascinate. I see a lady who is obviously watching your every move. Someone else is airing their bedding before packing it away now that winter's gone. Little snippets of DL that are the beginnings of a story. un exercice que tu aimes, ce jeu de façades et de couleurs, choix dans les teintes chaudes.
Belles verticalités pas de distorsion, c'est soigné.
Beaucoup de graphisme et de séduction dans des façades disons-le, pas des plus belles.

Un vert bien minoritaire, en effet. La façade en décrochement est aussi simple que belle. La lumière, les couleurs et la netteté sont comme à l'accoutumée excellentes. Bravo.

C'est le détail qui "tue"... Des volets vert pomme sur une façade rouge, ça claque ou ça fait tiquer, c'est selon, après tout, on dit bien que tous les goûts sont dans la nature ! Bon cadrage et belles couleurs... évidemment ;0)

Wonderful colour contrasts between the red, orange green & blue with good sharpness & a superb slice of daily life with the washing hanging out the windows a woman looking out contemplating & both open & closed windows. Excellent sharpness & tight framing. Merci et bon weekend!
