Photographer's Note
Very close to the street St Catherine, in the town centre of Bordeaux, just a step away from the theatre, I found this photogenic street with this sunray after the rain.
This street is one of two big axles which cross the historical party of the city. It cuts the centre to an axle North-south by linking up the place of the Comedy where is the Big Theatre instead of Win. The street Saint-Catherine and quarters located on the West by this one are very shopping (more than 250 boutiques which Galleries Lafayette, FNAC, Apple Store, etc). It became pedestrianized on the biggest party of its length between 1976 and 1977 then completely in 1984. It is often introduced as the longest shopping street of Europe. It was entirely redeveloped between 2000 and 2003 according to the plan of Jean-Michel Wilmotte.
