This is an area of Paris that I have often come to visit. Located at the very heart of the city, I often came to this part of the city without having any particular intension. In this area, the windows of the shops are always very attractively decorated, spending the time I had free doing window-shopping was purely a very enjoyable activity. In this shop also, I have never bought anything but I always found the window of this particular shop very inviting. The wigs that you see here are not for sale. They often present special items in their window simply to attract the eyes of tourists, or to catch any by-passer in the city. This shop is not what we expect normally, and what they sell here is very exclusive, but not expensive. If you are a fan of theatrical scenes and happened to be someone who appreciates such activity, this shop just might be the right one. Why are they not for sale? It is because this shop is a part of a very old and famous establishment in Paris. A shop with many items not for sale, the curious items presented here are something that they actually use on the stage. Established in 1799, this is a part of La ComÚdie Franšaise.

You are a very keen observer who brings out beautiful images out of daily things. Window shopping is always fun for many reasons. It is free and you can bump into many things that you wouldn't have thought of buying. If the items here are not for sale, are they rented? Many times, they are expensive to own but cheaper to rent. The display items are very interesting .How well you have captured these items with the reflection of the buildings on the side. I like the lighting and colors.
With warm regards,

Hello dear Nobu-san
Another nice peep into the intriguing shops of your favourite city! Its ccurious to note that the items in this shop are not for sale. In the reflection we see the other side of the street & the reflection of the hanging lamp is definitely a strong attracting point.
Best Regards Nobu-san & have a fine weekend
PS : My latest post...for you & of one of your 'favourite' places (I think)

Great note... the idea of a shop with many of their items not for sale is sounds so original despite going on since 1799..
Regarding your photo it is also very original and artistic, it makes me think of 'transparency'. Very interesting the reflections and the see through light effects. Bravo!
